Diversity Scaling of Human Digestive Tract (DT) Microbiomes: The Intra-DT and Inter-individual Patterns

چکیده
The human gut microbiome has been extensively studied, but its diversity scaling (changes or heterogeneities) along the digestive tract (DT) as well their inter-individual heterogeneities have not adequately addressed to best of our knowledge. Here we fill gap by applying diversity-area relationship (DAR), a recent extension classic species-area (SAR) in biogeography, reanalyzing dataset over 2000 16s-rRNA samples obtained from 10 DT sites 200 individuals. We sketched out biogeography “maps” for each cross-individual DAR analysis, and intra-DT distribution pattern cross-DT-site analysis. Regarding it was found that all invariant (constant) parameter—all possessing same change rate across individuals, most different potential diversities, which include portions may be absent locally present regionally. In case this study, site covers total respective individuals cohort. terms genus richness , an average individual hosts approximately 20% population-level (total bacterial population). contrast, community biodiversity percentages population exceed 90%. This suggests differences between microbiomes are predominantly composition species, rather than how abundances distributed ( i.e ., biodiversity). patterns, parameter z ) is larger—suggesting changes larger changes. higher heterogeneity bacteria diversity, suggested heterogeneity, should expected since reflects functional differentiations tract, while (z) difference On average, contains 21–36% whole DT, even taxon levels.

Multiply Resistant (MR) Salmonella enterica Serotype Typhimurium DT 12 and DT 120: A Case of MR DT 104 in Disguise?
Multiresistant Salmonella enterica serotype Typhimurium definitive phage type (DT) 12 and DT 120 are more closely related to DT 104 than to non-multiresistant strains of their respective phage types. Multiresistant DT 12 and DT 120 appear to have arisen due to changes in phage susceptibility of DT 104 rather than horizontal transfer of resistance genes.
متن کاملTract-Based Probability Densities of Diffusivity Measures in DT-MRI
We evaluate probability density functions of diffusivity measures in DTI fiber tracts as biomarkers. For this, we estimate univariate and bivariate densities, such as joint probability densities of the tract arc length and FA, MD, RD, and AD, in the transcallosal fibers in the brain. We demonstrate the utility of estimated densities in hypothesis testing of differences between a group of patien...
متن کاملFindings in Schizophrenia by Tract-Oriented DT-MRI Analysis
This paper presents a tract-oriented analysis of diffusion tensor (DT) images of the human brain. We demonstrate that unlike the commonly used ROI-based methods for population studies, our technique is sensitive to the local variation of diffusivity parameters along the fiber tracts. We show the strength of the proposed approach in identifying the differences in schizophrenic data compared to c...
متن کاملState of the Art of Dv/dt and Di/dt Control of Insulated Gate Power Switches
IGBT and MOSFET power switches are commonly used in power converters. MOSFET for middle power and IGBT for high power converters : gate drive circuits are used to drive such components. Some applications need to control dv/dt and di/dt from power switches to reduce electromagnetic emissions. New solutions have been introduced and tested since 1990 (conresponding to the maturation of IGBT techno...
متن کامل[SbCl2(η-1,4-dt)(μ2-1,4-dt)][AlCl4]: Ionic Liquid-based Synthesis of a Stibenium Cation (dt = dithiane)
The reaction of antimony(III) chloride with 1,4-dithiane (1,4-dt) in the ionic liquid [BMIM]Cl ([BMIM]Cl: 1-butyl-4-methylimidazolium chloride) with an excess of the Lewis acid AlCl3 results in the formation of a ligand-stabilized stibenium cation [SbCl2]. 1,4-Dithiane simultaneously serves as a chelating η2-ligand, exhibiting a boat-like conformation, as well as a bridging μ2-ligand, exhibitin...
